Listen to the waves crash, the birds sing, the wind blow through the trees. The Evening Star Airships are powered by sail and lift is provided by hydrogen, helium, fae magick, you decide. The perfect airship for a "non-airship" area and yet blends perfectly into any Victorian/Steampunk Sim.

The Evening Star Boxed Set of Airships contains two versions of the Evening star. The 18 prim Evening Star I and the 25 prim Evening Star II complete with wood fired, flaming beacon. These airships feature seating for two and are very maneuverable, perfect for flying low between the trees. Easy controls so you can focus on the view and interacting with your passenger.

Recession Hits Airship Ventures

Airship Ventures located outside of San Francisco just closed their second round of fund raising for $2.5 million.

The company which operates the 246 foot long, 12 passenger zeppelin Eureka says this round was smaller than the original funding of $8 million and that the number of customers who are willing to pay the $500 per flight have dropped since the economic downturn and will result in a "longer ramp up".

Note the look the pilot gives the gentleman when he asks if she is the only woman pilot that does this. Yeah, like there are so many zeppelin pilots out there! Who cares if its a woman or a martian?

R-101 Airship

Construction of British airship R-101 was completed in 1929. After test flights and having her lifting volume increased she crashed on her maiden voyage on October 5, 1930 ending they use of airships by the British. Sadly her sister ship R100 was later sold for scrap metal.
